Washington D.C. Office Internships

Congresswoman Deb Haaland's office is in search of undergraduate students or recent graduates for her paid, remote internship program for her Washington, D.C. office. Our internship program will provide students with a first-hand experience of the operations of a congressional office and the legislative branch. Priority will be given to applicants from New Mexico’s First District who are eligible for the Pell Grant or who otherwise can demonstrate financial need. Internships will be remote with the possibility of transitioning to an in-person internship should public health circumstances improve. Currently, all staff and interns are working remotely. Relocation to Washington, DC is not required for consideration. Applicants should be available for a minimum of 10 weeks and a maximum of up to 16 weeks between January and May 2021.
