The purpose of New Mexico’s Loan Repayment Programs is to provide assistance with student loan repayment for practicing professionals in high need professions such as health care and teaching. The State of New Mexico will pay a portion of a participant’s qualifying student loans for each year of service in the state. Loan Repayment is a competitive program and awards are based on available funding.
