The newly-established Data Advisory Group (DAG) will enable NMHED to collect and analyze key data that will inform key higher education initiatives in New Mexico. NMHED collects unit record data from all public higher education institutions in New Mexico, including Tribal Colleges, through the Electronic Data Editing and Reporting System, (eDEAR). This data drives the state funding formula and is used by the agency to provide research and analysis within adult and post-secondary education. The Data Advisory Group will meet periodically utilizing remote technology to provide guidance and support to the agency to ensure continued data integrity and thorough analysis.
