The New Mexico Higher Education Department, Public Education Department, and College Connect New Mexico are looking to celebrate students who have made the commitment to pursue education or training beyond high school.
Soon-to-be college students, including high school seniors, adult education graduates, and returning adult learners are invited to submit photos and video for inclusion in a virtual event taking place Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in their honor.
Instructions for Submitting Photos & Videos
Photos
- Create a sign featuring your school of choice or print out a blank sign here. You can also hold a pennant or t-shirt from the college or university you plan to attend.
- Take a selfie or have someone snap a picture of you holding your sign or featuring your college gear.
Videos
Film a video on your phone, computer, or tablet including the following elements:
- Say your name, your high school or education program, where you plan to attend college or career education, and what you will be studying (if you know).
- Feel free to hold up a sign, pennant, or wear a t-shirt in your video for your school of choice.
- Film in a well-lit room that doesn't have an echo.
- Keep your video short: 45 seconds or less.
