Most public colleges and universities in New Mexico will waive application fees throughout November, eliminating a financial barrier for prospective students during the annual ‘No Fee November’ initiative.
College enrollment has increased in New Mexico for the fourth consecutive year, the New Mexico Higher Education Department announced today, according to preliminary fall enrollment data from universities throughout the state.
Nearly 400 teachers will be receiving student loan forgiveness this year through the state’s Teacher Loan Repayment Program, part of New Mexico’s ongoing effort to build and strengthen the teacher pipeline.
